

FREE BIRDI wrote a list of all the wrongs Ive done you on my arm, in sharp black ink. I carved over them again and again, wanted to tattoo them there so I couldnt forget. I wrote, and I wrote, in letters and lines so small I could barely tell where one sentence ended and the other began, could scarcely tell where my skin was, and where there was ink. I ran out of space, and moved onto my chest, and covered its thin capacity. I continued down my legs, and up onto my neck. My right arm was the most difficult, but I practiced writing with my left hand in my spare time, until I could do it without flinching. I covered the veins and knuckles, tFREE BIRD

There is no reason for me to be physically tired. I slept last night. I muddled about in my bed this morning until the weight of sleep had fallen from my eyes and the tension in my muscles was kneaded out, until the dreams in my head stopped flashing and gave up their immediacy. But still, I meander about, trudge through on leaden feet and lift unfocused eyes. I cannot focus, I cannot care, I cannot do much of anything besides simply be. I can be. I wish that was all that was asked of me. To simply be. To ask anything more seems incomprehensible.

I see that you have managed to make it inside my mind. As you look around you can see that its just a stone box. Well, its more than a stone box. That brings to mind a lid and smooth walls and perfect corners. Its not like that at all. Of course, you can see that. Can see the craggy walls that shoot up into the blackness, and that theres nothing really of interest overhead right now.
